Tatiana Toumbeva specializes in the areas of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, training and assessment development and evaluation, and occupational health psychology. At the core of her work is applying learning principles and systems design to develop adaptive training capabilities in complex instructional settings. Her expertise also includes leveraging measurement theory and human performance principles to develop and evaluate assessment tools within dynamic contexts. Prior to joining Aptima, Tatiana gained internal consulting experience at Verizon Communications where she spearheaded and successfully implemented large-scale national talent acquisition initiatives.

Tatiana completed her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Bowling Green State University. She also holds a M.A. degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston University, and a B.S. in Biology from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Society for Occupational Health Psychology, and Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
