With a combined background in cognitive systems engineering and cognitive neuroscience, Olivia provides expertise in the areas of human performance measurement, state assessment, visual attention, neuroimaging, and ecological display design. She has worked extensively across the aviation domain on topics such as hypoxia, cybersecurity, proficiency assessment, and display design for supervisory control. In addition to her work at Aptima, Olivia leads neuroergonomic research in the Human Neuroscience and Visual Cognition Laboratory at Wright State University, employing technologies such as electroencephalography (EEG), function magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and eye tracking. Olivia is keenly interested in leveraging objective data sources to solve real world human factors challenges.

Olivia holds a MS in Human Factors and Industrial Organizational Psychology from Wright State University and a BA in Psychology from Clemson University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Human Factors and Industrial Organizational Psychology at Wright State University.
