Jiancarlo “JC” Villa, CAPT, U.S. Navy (Ret.)
JC Villa manages Aptima’s Navy Portfolio, leading overall customer engagement across the US Navy, and planning, organizing, directing, executing, monitoring, and controlling all areas of the company’s Navy portfolio within its Government Programs Group. In his role, he ensures programs deliver accelerated learning and enhanced human/machine teaming in preparation for the challenges that lie ahead—for individuals, teams and the entire workforce through the application of deep expertise in how humans think, learn and behave to the goal of advancing readiness. Prior to joining Aptima, JC was the Chief of Staff for the Naval Air Warfare Center Orlando where he focused on research, development, acquisition and logistics sustainment of modeling and simulation of training systems, training methods, and training solutions. He has also served as an Operational Aircraft Squadron Commander conducting combat operations.
JC holds a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, RI, and a BS in Marine Science from Jacksonville University, FL. He is a Joint Forces Staff College certified planner.
