Danielle Dumond Ward
Senior Research Engineer
Lead, Artificial Intelligence Analytics
Danielle Ward leads Aptima’s Artificial Intellience Analytics (AIA) capability, which focuses on identifying and vetting cutting edge AI technologies for novel domains. Her background lies in machine learning, terrain classification, probabilistic modeling, and robotics. Among other technical work at Aptima, Danielle has been the technical lead on projects focused on enabling robots to use context to better interact with their human counterparts.s
Danielle holds a PhD in engineering science with a specialization in control engineering from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. She also holds a a BS in Physics from the College of William and Mary. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
