User Experience/Interaction Designer
Ben Nargi focuses on Aptima’s human performance measurement tools, including SPOTLITE®, which utilizes subjective rating technology, and on the web-based Performance DashboardTM, which displays live data for after-action review and analysis. He has led collaborative application design efforts for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps., Army, and Air Force. Ben has also worked with the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to come up with novel application solutions to assist clinicians using context-aware decision-making tools. He conducts formative and summative testing of Aptima’s software, and routinely performs on-site evaluation and assessments of Aptima’s tools and applications during live use.
Ben holds a MS in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University, where he focused on ecological interface design, medical device human factors analysis, and human-machine interaction. He also holds a BDes from The Pennsylvania State University where he studied digital design.
