Werner holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. His doctoral dissertation focused on developing methods to observe and analyze the activity of engineers working on product design projects
