Ben’s primary research interests are at the intersection of the social sciences, behavioral game theory, and artificial intelligence. His research is published in the multi-agent systems and artificial intelligence communities. Prior to joining Aptima, he was a Software Engineer for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, Rhode Island. His doctoral thesis focused on the development of machine learning models to predict wildlife crime and on the field testing of those machine learning models in the real world.
Ben holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
