Tara Kilcullen

Program and Customer Engagement Lead

Tara joins the Aptima team with an extensive background in leadership, engineering development, customer development and management, and brings with her over 15 years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams in the design and development of military training and simulation with a focus on training technologies and development as well as data collection and analyses for both military and commercial systems. Additionally, she understands that when a company gains efficiencies so does the customer and end users. She has previously helped to implement and drive agile principles and process improvements both within an engineering organization and other supporting organizations. These improvements led to better internal metrics through enhanced data collection and analyses methods, which specifically allowed the company to gain numerous efficiencies revolving around project planning, organization, execution, and quality.

In her role as Program and Customer Engagement Lead, she supports business strategy, planning, and execution, defines market needs for technology requirements, product maturation and successful transition of science and technology (S&T) research programs, and leads defense programs that differentiate Aptima as an industry leader in MS&T.

Tara holds B.A.’s from the University of Pittsburgh and an A.S. from Full Sail University, as well as several certifications.
