Diane has 20 years of experience in User System Interface design and evaluation, human factors and systems engineering, and quality assurance and testing. She has served in both project leader and senior technical staff roles, providing human factors and systems engineering expertise to several large-scale programs including command and control systems, mission planning systems, and air surveillance systems. Diane has also designed online coursework and moderated educational chats and discussion forums. She has co-authored two book chapters on e-learning.
Diane earned a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Educational Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Human-Computer Interaction, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. She is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Computer Human Interaction.
