Dean is a Certified Federal Contracts Manager ensuring proper compliance and administration of Aptima’s pre-award and post-award functions. He provides support and guidance to project managers and serves as a point-of-contact for customers on proposal and contractual matters. His duties include drafting Non-Disclosure Agreements, working with and developing subcontract relationships, ensuring proper costing and pricing on all types of contracts, proposal management and submission, negotiations, and contract administration. Dean is Aptima’s Small Business Liaison.
Dean has been helping companies do business with the Federal government for many years. He is also a devoted Veterans advocate having served as an Electronics Warfare Technician in the U.S. Navy and as an officer in the Army National Guard.
Dean is a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the National Contract Management Association. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from University of Connecticut. He is currently working on a Master of Contracts Management degree with American Graduate University.
