Alexis has over 15 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, culture building and people management. In addition to her long and successful record of creating, driving, supporting and leading all aspects of people operations and employee experiences, Alexis is a clinical psychologist.
Alexis is often the first person a candidate meets or speaks to as she attends career fairs and sources applicants from all over the US. In addition to recruiting and hiring, Alexis chairs the company’s Talent Management Community of Practice (TM COP). The mission of TM COP is to maintain Aptima’s unique corporate culture of entrepreneurial and creative spirit, personal and professional excellence, and teamwork and collaboration, through professional development and personal growth. She also oversees Aptima’s Aptimentor program, which aims to match more experienced staff with newer employees or long-term employees who wish to grow and expand their skill set and responsibilities.
Once a candidate joins the company, they’ll find Alexis front and center at many of Aptima’s training and social events. When she’s not leading professional training sessions for staff, you’ll find her emceeing the company’s periodic promotion and award ceremonies that bring us together to recognize and celebrate one another’s achievements. She also coordinates Aptima’s annual “Spring Soiree” at which Aptimists from across the country (with their significant others) gather in one swank location for an evening of cocktails, food, and fellowship.
Alexis holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, San Francisco and is a member of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
